Vira Lozinsky, a Grand Prize winner of the International Jewish Music Competition in Amsterdam, is one of today's outstanding Yiddish singers. She blends her singing with a variety of musical styles from East European folk from Klezmer, Gypsy, Romanian and Russian, to South American Tangos. Her repertoire includes new material as well as Yiddish folk songs, songs of Bessarabian, Romanian and Polish Jewish poets, and classical and modern Yiddish poets.
